Ex-po-zure Closed!

I have been toying with this idea for many months now.

I think the time has come for me to move on.
I have given all that I have to this club and I have loved every minute of it, but my desire to continue has been lost.
I can't seem to find it, and I know that as January nears, I need to make a decision about continuing.

I have enjoyed my time away, and I fear that one month just won't be enough time, therefore, I am going to close the club indefinitely.

Who knows......maybe there will be a day that I will want to return.

I am considering turning the club over to someone else. BUT I have not made this decision yet, so please do not note me about it.

Our Advanced Photography Class is Open and the Teachers are
sending in their submissions...

I NEED MORE TEACHERS PLEASE.........

You are eligible to submit as a Teacher if your photo has ever been chosen
for one of the Best of Galleries....
You do not have to use the photo that was selected for our Best of Gallery, you may choose ANYTHING from your gallery for the class.
Your submission to this class will NOT take the place of your regular submission to the club's gallery.
I am not going to put a limit on how many you may submit at the moment. So if you've already submitted to the class, you may submit again.

TEACHERS.....

I'm asking you to consider sharing your technique.
You may use ANY photo, not necessarily the one you submitted to the club.
All photos will be placed in our Advanced Photography 101 Collections Gallery.
Comments will be left open under these photo's for questions and answers.

Please put this information in the description of your own deviation.
You may then submit to me, put "AP101" in subject line of your note. I will then add it to our AP101 Collection Gallery.


1. Taken Indoors/Outdoors
2. Weather conditions in detail, ie; sunny, cloudy, windy etc.
3. Time of Day
4. Equipment used:
Kind of Camera, Filters, Tripod, Flash
5. Camera Settings, ie: Manual, A, S, P and the exif data included.
Also include if you shot in RAW
6. Post processing in detail.
Did you use PS, which one, PSP which one?
Step by Step post processing details of paramount importance

Also include the amount of time you spent on post processing.

It is my hope that this Class will help a great many of you with your photography.
It is my hope that this project become a success.
It is my hope that any and all eligible members who wish to "become" Teachers by submtting their work, feel comfortable enough to share their technique, without being challenged.
This is not the place for that.

Hey Guys.....New Members....we play an ongoing Game and here is how it goes......

If you find this icon in
the description of one of our submissions, you will win a Journal Feature.

I will be asking members to hide the treasure in the description of their deviation.( Please DO NOT hide the treasure in your photo unless I've asked you to.)

If you find this treasure, you MUST send me the thumb you found it in (no links, they will not be accepted). You may then send me one of your own thumbs and it will be featured in a Journal Feature.

Please put "Hidden Treasure" in the subject line of your note!

Forget how to send a thumb?



Remember....Hidden Treasures are only awarded a feature when you find them in with someone's deviation....if you see it in a Journal Feature this does NOT count!

NOTE!
Those caught hiding the treasure in their photo without being asked by me, will be dealt with.
I will keep a list of those members whom I ask to participate.
